We currently use the DJI MINI 2 drone for all our aerial photography needs. However, we wanted to let you know that the MINI 3 is now available and you can find the link to it below. With regards to our setup, we use the controller that requires you to insert your phone and use the app. Although it's a simple process, it can be frustrating when you're in a rush to capture the perfect moment, and having to connect your phone and fit it into the controller can add unnecessary stress. Additionally, we've encountered issues where our phone has become stuck in the controller, preventing us from using it or draining its battery. Therefore, we highly recommend the controller with a built-in screen that's now available with the MINI 3. These tiny details can make a big difference when it comes to capturing high-quality footage.
If you're new to the world of drones, we strongly suggest purchasing the combo that comes with extra batteries and a bag. Batteries are essential and tend to deplete quickly, so having extras on hand can extend your flying time. Plus, having a bag to store your drone and accessories in makes it easy to transport everything safely and conveniently.
