Building a SHIPPING CONTAINER Workshop – Part 1

Our boat restoration journey has certainly had its share of challenges lately, but just when things seemed bleak, an unexpected twist of fate comes our way! The shipyard owner surprises us by constructing our dream shipping container workshop, giving us a much-needed boost as we tackle our boat refit.

And the timing couldn't be better – with the big move looming just days away! As we prepare to relocate everything from the company to the shipyard, we're keeping our fingers crossed for a smooth transition, hoping that our furniture pieces make it unscathed.

Moving our boat is no small feat, though. Situated at the bottom of a steep incline in a shallow parking lot, with a short driveway directly off a major highway, the logistics are daunting. The moving company will need two cranes working in tandem to hoist the boat into the air and onto a specially designed truck bed. And all of this has to happen bright and early in the morning before rush hour traffic brings our plans to a standstill!
