What Happened?!

Our sailboat restoration project is BACK! We have been on hiatus from publishing episodes for a couple months now and we're only just tarting to get back on our feet. With a new crew member as our lead carpenter, team Lahakai is pushing through to the end so we can get this boat back in the water and start sailing her around the world. That's the dream at least!

In this episode we show you the challenges we faced creating our galley. As you remember the computer design that was made, didn't cut it and we were having a hard time fitting the furniture in place. It was also not taking full advantage of the space, and this is critical for a liveaboard boat. We need the maximum amount of storage room for food and all the kitchen essentials. Taking our time to refit the pieces we were able to not only expand our storage but also make it look professional and attractive – if I do say so myself!
